Sociology is the scientific study of society, including patterns of social relationships, social interaction, and culture. It uses various methods of empirical investigation and critical analysis to develop a body of knowledge about society.

Economics  is a social science concerned with the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. It studies how individuals, businesses, governments and nations make choices on allocating resources to satisfy their wants and needs, and tries to determine how these groups should organize and coordinate efforts to achieve maximum output.

Political Science also called government, deals with

  • systems of governance
  • the analysis of political activities, political thoughts and political behaviour.
  • the distribution of power and resources.
